ABOUT MEI have been programming professionally since 2003. I started developing for Windows with the .NET platform and slowly shifted my focus towards mobile development. Every so often, I'm confronted with projects that require me to step outside my boundaries and learn new platforms, languages, and technologies. I enjoy, and welcome these opportunities.
When I'm not building apps, I spend my time with my two daughters and my wife. We have a sailboat and I try to sail as much as I can in the summer. I take to the skies on the weekend with my favorite pastime, hang gliding. I love the outdoors and I try to get out as much as possible.

I am passionate about small business marketing, e-commerce, and product development. I have created products for niche markets in the past and marketed them for online sales. I'm known to obsess over an idea and create products or apps around it. Nothing beats the feeling of making a sale on a product you've worked hard on materializing from a mere idea
My first entrepreneurial venture was an instructional DVD on how to drive. I filmed this 90 minute movie myself, with the help of some friends, and used Google Adwords to advertise. I used a PayPal "Buy Now" button to collect money, and Google Analytics to track customer behaviours. I tweaked the campaigns week after week until the conversion rate peeked. It was a great classroom.

For the past three or so years, I've been involved with some major companies. From popular media giants and big banks, to the new, up-and-coming medicinal marijuana industry. It's all been a fantastic ride with some amazing people, new technologies, and great experiences. I've had experience working alone and on large and small teams. I built Android and iOS apps using Swift, Objective-C, and React Native. Please take a look at some of my projects.
